A CD-LINKS stakeholder and capacity building workshop was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 21 March 2019. Titled \u2018Sustainable national roadmaps towards the global objective of 1.5 and 2\u00b0C \u2013 the Brazilian perspective\u2019 this workshop brought together representatives from the Brazilian government, international delegations, businesses, civil society and researchers to discuss important insights from the CD-LINKS project with particular relevance for Brazil. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Presentations during the event also provided insights on Integrated Assessment Models and their use for policy making, including how such models informed the IPCC Special Report on 1.5 \u00b0C and what insights such models can provide on broader sustainable development goals and the transformation of energy systems.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
